Dr. Kadeswaran S exemplifies dedication to media studies research and scholarship. Since 2018, he has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Communication and Electronic Media at PSG College of Arts and Science. He began pursuing a PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2012. His impressive publication record includes five book chapters, eighteen peer-reviewed journal articles, and fifteen conference proceedings. Dr. Kadeswaran also has prior experience as an Assistant Professor of Visual Communication at other institutions and mentors over 15 postgraduate and PhD scholars. His research focuses on new media studies and developmental communication, and he contributes to the academic community as an editor for the International Journal of Research in Humanities (Scopus & Web of Science).
Dr. Jayaseelan R career reflects a deep commitment to research and media scholarship. After his post-graduation in 2006, he began as a web designer, hinting at his future interest in digital communication. As Programme Producer (Head) at Suryan FM (Red FM) in Coimbatore, India (2007), he gained insights into broadcasting and content creation. In 2010, he transitioned to a District Coordinator role for a prominent NGO funded by the Melinda Gates Foundation, contributing to social progress. In 2012, he began a full-time PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication. Since 2018, he has been an Assistant Professor at PSG College of Arts and Science, publishing numerous articles in national and international journals, book chapters and mentoring over 12 postgraduate and PhD scholars.
Ms. Brindha D is an assistant professor from the Department of Communication at PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. She holds a master in journalism and mass communication and is currently pursuing her doctorate in environmental communication. As an academician, she has organized organized workshops, events, and extension activities. She has authored books, published research articles in national/international journals, presented research papers in national/international conferences, and contributed book chapters.
Ms. Chithra Lekshmi K. S is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, with over a decade of teaching experience enriching her academic journey through various esteemed colleges and universities. In addition to her Master’s Degree in Mass Communication she holds a Master's Degree in English Literature too. Chithra is a UGC NET qualifier since December 2011 which reflects her deep knowledge and expertise in Mass Communication. Her commitment to education is complemented by her participation in faculty development programs, workshops and seminars which further enrich her teaching methodologies. Beyond her teaching roles, Chithra is a part-time Ph.D. scholar, showcasing her commitment to research, evident through paper presentations in conferences and published book chapters.
