Dr. Kamalakanta Muduli is an accomplished academic, researcher, and engineering educator with over nineteen years of teaching, research, and administrative experience in mechanical and industrial engineering. He currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the School of Mechanical Engineering at The Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNG Unitech). He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar, where his research focused on green and sustainable supply chain management in the mining sector. Dr. Muduli's research interests encompass sustainable manufacturing, supply chain management, Industry 4.0, circular economy, healthcare waste management, industrial engineering, and intelligent operational systems. He has published more than 210 scholarly contributions, including journal articles, books, conference papers, and book chapters, and has supervised several doctoral and master's research scholars. He is the holder of international patents and has received multiple awards for research excellence and international collaboration. A Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a member of several professional bodies, Dr. Muduli has edited and authored numerous books with leading international publishers. His work continues to advance sustainable, technology-driven solutions for modern engineering and infrastructure systems.
