Secure Swarm Intelligence: Federated Learning for Agentic Coordination explores the convergence of decentralized artificial intelligence and collaborative multi-agent systems. This book examines how federated learning enables secure knowledge sharing among autonomous agents without exposing sensitive data, ensuring privacy-preserving coordination across distributed environments. It highlights architectures, communication protocols, trust mechanisms, and adaptive learning strategies that strengthen collective intelligence while maintaining data sovereignty. Through real-world applications in smart cities, robotics, defense, and edge computing, the book demonstrates how secure swarm systems enhance resilience, scalability, and decision-making efficiency. It serves as a comprehensive guide for researchers and practitioners building next-generation distributed intelligent ecosystems.

This book covers foundational principles of swarm intelligence, multi-agent systems, and federated learning, integrating them into a secure framework for agentic coordination. It discusses decentralized learning architectures, privacy-preserving model aggregation, secure communication protocols, and trust management mechanisms. Topics include adversarial robustness, differential privacy, blockchain-assisted coordination, and edge intelligence deployment. Practical applications in smart cities, autonomous vehicles, robotics swarms, cybersecurity, and distributed healthcare systems are examined. The book also addresses scalability challenges, governance models, ethical considerations, and performance optimization strategies, providing both theoretical foundations and implementation insights for building resilient, privacy-aware, collaborative AI ecosystems.
